Here are answers to the things people ask most often. If you can’t find what you need, get in touch – we’re happy to help.
Choose a tour on our website, pick a date, and pay online with a credit or debit card. You’ll receive a confirmation email straight away with all the details.
Yes. Our regular tours accept small groups. If you’d like a tour for your group only, have a look at our private tours – we’ll arrange a time and route that suits you.
We recommend booking at least 48 hours ahead, especially in summer and around holidays. Some tours have limited spaces.
Yes. The price on the tour page includes the guide, transport to the trail (where applicable), and any equipment listed under “What’s included”. There are no hidden fees at checkout.
Each tour has a specific meeting point listed on its page. Most start near a metro station or a central landmark. We include a map and exact address in your booking confirmation.
Transport to the meeting point is included in most of our tours. We’ll tell you exactly where to go in your confirmation email, including which metro line to take.
Dress for the weather and the trail. We have a dedicated What to Bring page with advice for each season. The short version: sturdy shoes, layers, and a waterproof jacket.
It depends on the tour. Each tour page lists the distance, terrain, and fitness level. Some walks are gentle and suitable for most people; others involve hills and uneven ground. If you’re unsure, send us a message and we’ll help you pick the right tour.
We run tours in most weather – rain is part of hiking in Norway. In severe conditions (storms, ice warnings, unsafe trails), we’ll contact you to reschedule or offer a full refund. We never take groups out in unsafe conditions.
We keep groups small so everyone can hear the guide, ask questions, and walk at a comfortable pace. Group sizes are listed on each tour page.
Our regular tours are in English. We also offer private tours in Norwegian, French, Arabic, and Berber. Let us know your preference when you book.
Some tours include coffee, snacks, or a barbecue – it’s noted on the tour page. We recommend bringing water and a light snack on all tours.
Of course. We build in stops at good viewpoints. Bring a portable charger in winter – cold weather drains phone batteries faster.
Free cancellation up to 48 hours before the tour. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable. If we cancel due to weather or safety, you’ll receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
Yes, provided you let us know at least 48 hours before the tour. We’ll move you to another date at no extra charge, subject to availability.
No-shows are not refundable. If you’re running late, contact us – we may be able to wait briefly or arrange an alternative.
Some tours are suitable for children – minimum ages are noted on each tour page. For families with young children, a private tour is often the best option as we can adjust the pace and route.
Most of our nature tours involve uneven terrain and hills that are not wheelchair-accessible. Our city tour follows paved streets and is more manageable. Contact us with your specific needs and we’ll let you know what’s possible.
For tours that include food, let us know your dietary needs when you book and we’ll do our best.
